Ask Tom Woods and Lew Rockwell unPC Questions
RON PAUL NEWS
Can’t make it to Ft. Worth on Saturday, October 3? Watch live from your home or mobile device! We’ll be taking questions from our online audience. You don’t want to miss it. Broadcast starts at 10 a.m. CST.
University professors, media pundits, and politicians tell us that freedom of speech is very important. But in practice, your freedom of speech ends where political correctness begins.
Today, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to peacefully express any opinions at all without being accused of intolerance, use of “trigger words” or “microaggressions” that may lead to public shaming at best, and legal action at worst.
At the core of this cultural Marxism is an effort to set the parameters of acceptable speech: what Tom Woods calls the 3x5 index card of allowable opinion. The ultimate goal is to entirely remove from public discussion options the government and its friends find unacceptable.
Join the Mises Institute as Lew Rockwell, Tom Woods, Tom DiLorenzo, and Jeff Deist examine how political correctness is used to prevent serious discussion of the ways your government coerces, steals, intimidates, and impoverishes its citizens, as well as what sorts of radical and meaningful strategies might bring actual change.
