Rumblings of dissent started before the March 29 Nueces County Republican Convention and didn't let up in the weeks leading to the state convention.

Two lawsuits have been filed and decided. A recording of shouting at the county convention has made the rounds on YouTube. And a flurry of complaints has been made to the state party about county leadership...

Starting Wednesday morning, a state committee will hear credentials challenges, which are official complaints against a delegate's right to be seated at the Texas state convention. More than half of those 16 complaints filed against 12 people will be from Nueces County...
