US 'faces many Iraq challenges'

The top US military leader in Iraq, Gen David Petraeus, has begun a second day of testimony to the US Congress.

Speaking to the House Armed Services panel, he said "innumerable challenges remain" and that progress was fragile.

He repeated Tuesday's recommendation that troop withdrawals be suspended after July for an unspecified period.
